MIck Sweda has been a professional
musician for over 20 years. He's played in high profile
bands that have toured the world and earned him gold
and platnium records. His videos were MTV favorites,
and are still being played on VH1 Classics. His music
is also featured in such movies as Wayne's World
and the kids flick and cable favorite, Airborne.
In 2000, Mick and his wife,
Shellie, became the proud parents to their son, Wyatt.
Not long after that, Mick got the bug to start writing
little tunes for his new boy. The first was an acoustic
ditty that he would play for Wyatt at bedtime. It
was later named, "Wywy's Lullaby".That little
song became the catalyst for what would eventually
become Songs in the Key of Cool and the beginning
of a new musical adventure as a children's recording
artist.
